The BeActivated Movement Screen includes seven tests that assess mobility as well as stability. While the scoring system requires critical judgement by the tester, clear and objective criteria have been established to maximise the objectivity of this screening tool. 

The screening process is quick, easy and requires little space. These aspects were given great consideration when the process was devised because of the time and space constraints placed on sports medicine professionals and trainers in their respective settings.

OBJECTIVE
The BeActivated Movement Screen simply demonstrates the quality of movement an athlete possesses to build all other athletic ability and skill.

The portable, non-invasive Omegawave technology allows for a comprehensive assessment of the professional and recreational athletes’ individual functional status of mind (brain) and body. 

The Omegawave technology is based on the assessment of the organism as a whole. These systems are measured by scientific methods that have been repeatedly tested for a number of years and comply with accepted industry requirements of scientific methods (including validity, reliability, reproducibility, sensitivity, specificity, accuracy and stability).

OBJECTIVE
Omegawave DC potential measurement is a reliable and sensitive method for the assessment of the functional state of the Central Nervous System (Brain) and the organism’s overall readiness for planned activities. This method has been investigated in fundamental physiology research and medical science for over 70 years and has been used in sports practice for over 10 years. It is a universal, integrated indicator of the stress level and resistance, adaptational changes, compensation abilities, cost of adaptation and adaptability in general.

OBJECTIVE
Every person has muscles in each eye that can be trained and improved. The process skills can also be improved and response skills of eye-hand, foot and body coordination can be enhanced. When people see more, they can assess situations much quicker and exercise their options to ultimately make better decisions. 

It must be noted that 80-90% of decisions made in sport are based upon visual information. Developing visual skills includes learning to use both eyes together, effectively. Having both eyes move, align and focus as a team, enhances your ability to interpret and understand the potential visual information that is available to you. Once you see it correctly you can process that information. You can train the input skill and improve the processing skill to improve the response. Johnny Wilkinson says it gave him more time to make better decisions. All he needed was to improve his visual skills. Most people are born with good eyesight, but vision – the ability to identify, interpret and understand – can be trained and improved.

Reams’ Biological Theory of Ionisation (RBTI) looks at how the body functions as a whole, biochemically and electrically.

The equation for perfect health is central to RBTI as it provides a simple method of analysing a person as a unique individual.

The RBTI equation is measured by carrying out urine and saliva tests. The equation takes the body’s carbohydrates, acidity, alkalinity, conductivity and carbohydrate- as well as protein digestion into account.  Any deviations from normality will affect this equation adversely and thus the body’s chemistry and electricity, which in turn affects the body’s function as a whole.

OBJECTIVE
The equation was developed for the sole purpose of designing a diet to suit a single person’s individual body chemistry. It can be used for other purposes, other than for eating, but dietary planning and guidance is its main purpose.

The Omegawave technology is based on the assessment of the organism as a whole. Readiness of the Energy Supply System (ESS) is assessed using a multi-faceted approach consisting of amplitude and frequency analysis of all components of each ECG complex over two minutes.  This approach is based on the relationship between resting electrical processes in the heart and the readiness of the ESS.

OBJECTIVE
Omegawave uses the following indexes to assess the readiness of the ESS:

  • Aerobic Index – Indicative of the current state of the aerobic ESS and the athlete’s readiness for aerobic loads.
  • Anaerobic Index – Indicative of the state of the anaerobic ESS.
  • Metabolic Index – Indicative of the overall effectiveness and coordination of the ESS.

Based on the multi-faceted analysis of ECG, Omegawave calculates the most important parameter for managing the intensity of training loads – individual heart rate at anaerobic threshold.

The HRV (Heart Rate Variability) analysis method allows assessment of the readiness of the cardiac system and the regulatory influences of the Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) on cardiac function. Over 50 years, the HRV method has become widely used and approbated for use in physiology, clinical and space medicine as well as physiology of sports and labour. In each field it has proved its effectiveness for the assessment of adaptational responses of the cardiovascular system to loads.

Omegawave regards HRV as an indicator of the current integrated response of the multi-circuit and multilevel regulatory system for cardiopulmonary function to the training process. It also uses the HRV analysis method to register and analyse ten parameters, which are in accordance with the Standard of Registration & Physiological Interpretation for Clinical Use, as defined by the European Society of Cardiology and the North American Society of Pacing & Electrophysiology.

OBJECTIVE
Using comprehensive HRV analysis results, Omegawave presents an immediate conclusion on the levels of stress, fatigue, recovery and the potential adaptational reserves of the individual.

The heart rate variability analysis is a scientific method for assessing the functional state of the cardiovascular- and autonomic nervous System.

Throughout its 50-year history, the HRV method has been approbated in physiology, clinical and space medicine, labour and sports physiology, and proved its effectiveness for the assessment of adaptational responses of the human cardiovascular system to training loads and stressors.

The method may be used for evaluating the athlete’s functional state, predicting stress, adaptation, recovery, overreaching and overtraining and controlling the training process.
